On his new Ep "La Ceremonia" Deela dives deep into the traditional sounds of south America. He Blends Gaita Flutes, Charangos, and shamanistic Chants.
To his modern interpretations of cultural music from countries like Bolivia, Peru, and Colombia he adds hypnotic drum patterns, dubby basslines and spacey skanks.
First track, "La llama", sets the deep tone of the EP
"La shamana" is a collaboration with Raggabund´s very own, Paco Medoza who masterfully handles his job on the vocals.
"La Forca" is a drum driven vibration with a catchy gaita colombiana melody on top to help you get loose on the dance floor.
"El espirítu" takes the listener on a psychedelic trip with a touch of a house feel. Perfect for meditating or dancing!You decide!
The last Song of the Ep "El Ritual" comes straight from the depths of the jungle.
Dreamy reggae chops and vocal echoes provide an almost ayahuascaesque feel which brings the trip to a wonderful ending and in a perfect place to press rewind or have a rest and reflect.
